If you are a subscriber, you probably know that I am dog obsessed and you have seen photos of my fur baby Finley. I know some of y’all are too and have even shared sweet photos with me! So, I think you are going to love this roundup of inspirational Cricut projects that are perfect for dog lovers like us!
1. Make a “Fur Mama” Shirt
Love this design even for a beginner who is still starting out with heat transfer vinyl because it is all one color, easy to cut and no layering. Plus, I think it’s pretty cute if I do say so myself. Grab this design for free here!
2. Label Your Dog’s Food Storage Container
You can label it “dog food”, but I prefer something a little less obvious, so thought “woof” in this skinny font was adorable. You can get this exact bin too for under $20 at Ikea! Cheap and cute – my favorite combo 🙂 Search “Skinny” on dafont.com to get a font like this to recreate it.
3. Make a dog treat container
Love this funny and cute free svg design that you can easily cut out of 651 and add to a simple and inexpensive glass jar using your cutting machine. Get the free design here.
4. Make Custom Dog Bandanas with Your Cricut
Follow along with this adorable tutorial from Pitter and Pink on how to easily make and personalize dog bandanas for your pup. I love these types of bandanas that fit around your dog’s collar so they are much more comfortable for your dog to wear. (via Pitter and Pink)
5. Wipe Your Paws Doormat
I was thrilled when I was walking through the aisles of Ikea the other day and saw that they had plain doormats for $5! I instantly grabbed one to customize (stencil and paint) with my cutting machine. This is actually what inspired the “wipe your paws” design that I’m sharing with you for free here.
6. Make merch to sell and raise money for an animal rescue
Get this adopt don’t shop design here, which I am ONLY allowing commercial use for non-profit animal rescue groups, but all proceeds must go to the charity.
7. Dog Mom Car Decal
Beginners often don’t realize that they can actually make car decals with their cutting machines! Love this cute Rescue Mom decal for those with adopted dogs. Get the free design (personal use only) here.
8. DIY Etched Wine Glass
The perfect thing to cheer you up after a long day: a wine glass etched with this cute design. Get the etching cream here (affiliate) and free design here. Especially perfect for dachshund lovers!
9. Personalize your dog’s bowls
Choose whatever design you like. Our dog has Syracuse bowls since his father is a die hard fan 🙂
10. Make a candle or stepping stone for your yard in loving memory of a lost pet.
Our fur babies are truly part of the family, so losing them is devastating. I love the idea of making a sweet candle to have in the house or a stepping stone (stencil and paint) out in your yard in loving memory. These would also make priceless gift for those close to you who have lost a pet.
Get the “Forever in Our Hearts” free svg design (personal use only) here and I love Ikea for plain candles to customize for projects like this.
